Typical, yesterday I tried to go windsurfing and the wind dropped on me. Today the wind was about the same all day hovering aroudn 12-25 knots which wasn't quite enough to windsurf. I waited until 3pm and then decided to head out for a surf ski session instead, hoping that the wind would ease off even more as it was forecast to.

Guess what.... It didn't. Instead it filled in all the time making it to close to 30 knots at times. Difficult conditions on my ski and quite a slog to get back to where I started with such a headwind.

Even more difficult was getting the ski back up the beach and then onto the roof of the camper. This is a precarious manoeuvre at the best of time as I balance on a little stool with a 6m long heavy ski above my head. With 25 knot wind trying to rip it from my hands it's even more difficult.

It was good whilst on the water though even if hard work.
